Our Köstritzer cellar beer is an unfiltered, bottom-fermented beer specialty for real connoisseurs. Full-bodied and with natural turbidity, the original taste of the old brewing tradition was preserved with this beer. The best raw materials such as a special roasted malt, special malts and selected hops give the beer specialty from Köstritzer not only its unique aroma, but also its characteristic look.

Draught. Amber colour, hazy. Aroma is much cereal. Light bitterness. Not too heavy. Goes well with food.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with a big and stable white head. Mild grainy malty nose with a bit of chalk. Stale body feel. Malty sweet with a medium bitterness. Medium light with quite some metallic notes in aftertaste - not the best.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, fruits and hops. Semi sweet finish and light oily palate.

Bottle. Brown color, white head with medium lasting. Aroma is light toasty with some hay hints. Flavor is quite similar as aroma with light maltiness. Plane beer on palate.

Lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig, licht zoet met iets van geroosterd brood. Best een goed bier, drinkt makkelijk weg.

Fles meegebracht van vakantie en thuis gedronken. Oranje tot amberkleurig bier met stevige witte schuimkraag. De geur is licht bitter evenals de smaak. De smaak heeft iets weg van pils. De bittere smaak ebt langzaam weg.

Pours light copper from the bottle. Aroma is not the best, some caramel malt to be sure but also something in the direction of basement aromas. The optic is better, a long lasting crown nicely complements the amber body, although the beer seems remarkably clear for something the bottle claims is unfiltered. The taste is mild and unremarkable - hints of caramel and toffee, and a light hops bitterness in the taste. The body is light to medium. OK.

Ambar anaranjada, de escasa espuma. Aroma malteado y cereal. En boca mantiene un caracter cereal, y un tono entre dulce y amargo con buen punto de gas. Agradable.

50cl Bottle from Mitra Tiel. Slightly hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of faint caramel, grain, husks, nuts. Flavour is light to medium sweet, malty, some caramel, light nutty, minerals, bitter finish. Light bodied, watery. Lacks flavour.
