Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is smooth Bourbon with dark malt, caramel, chocolate, green peppers, vanilla, oak, spicy notes, toffee. Flavour is medium sweet without the firm chili burn you'd expect, it's fairly subtle and the chili is present more in the aroma than in the flavour. Body is above medium. Very nice, smooth and balanced with lovely Bourbon and peppers.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Copper colour, small beige head. Aroma is pumpkin, some ginger bread and mild vanilla notes. Flavour is pumpkin, some ginger and mild alcohol to it. Smooth and well balanced. No traces of chili nor cacao.

Quarantine Beer #091 sampled from 2016 bottle at home on 04/28/2020. Dark cola-brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Oaky aroma with pepper and pumpkin spice notes. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, pumpkin spice, chili pepper and chocolate malt. The finish is spicy and oaky with a bourbon and pepper aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2019) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, vinous nose with notes of chocolate, roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon. Fruity taste with caramel, chocolate, pumpkin, cinnamon and bourbon. Low bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Pumpkin beers are not usually my cup of tea, but the combination with bourbon and chocolate/caramel works really well. Very nice. (7/4/8/4/15=3.8) Rerate: (Bottle, 9 Jan 2024) Dark brown colour with foamy beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of oak wood, cinnamon, fruit cake, pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Malty, spicy, sweet taste with caramel, oak wood, fruit cake, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, chocolate, vanilla and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. A slight chilli bite coming through after a while. Almost full body, sweet. Rich, complex and quite spicy. Very nice.

Bottled 375ml (Systembolaget) Dark ruby-brown colour, small beige head. Toffee, ginger bread, pumpkin, chocolate in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Sweetish toffeish flavour is dominated by pumpkin spice and ginger bread. Some bourbon, cocoa, can't trace chilli. Interesting.

Draft at Capones. Opaque black and full bodied. Molasses, bourbon and pumpkin spice aroma. Brown sugar and pumpkin taste with vanilla following. Finish is pumpkin boozy. Excellent pumpkin stout.
