April fun at Ratebeer Odense. Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with chocolate and various spice. Sweet chocolate flavour with a vanilla note.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense Spring, 2024. Pours Black with bubbles on top. Cinnamon, Dusty vibes, Spices over the top vibes. Perhaps a little age.

Bottle at the source: pours black with light brown head. Aroma is slight booze, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, spice and pastry generally. Taste is spicy, slight booze, smooth chocolate. Body is smooth and silky.

[ As Evil Twin NYC / American Solera / Prairie 12 Beers of Christmas ].
ABV: 12.8%. Cloudy dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, spicy, cinnamon, cake (streusel - cinnamon streusel), light nutty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, spicy, roasted, dark malt, cinnamon, cake (streusel - cinnamon streusel). Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200519]

Lots of base stout notes, but hints of cinnamon streusel for sure, the nose is what's killing me on some of these but this one was at least carbed and tasty.

Bottle shared at home with the in-laws - pours black with a tan thin head. Sweet and roasted malty with notes of cocoa, brown sugar, cakey malts, full body, some cinnamon spice into the dark malty finish. Nice enough but not much wow factor here for me
