Brewed in collaboration with out friends over at Side Project Brewing Company. This Saison features local buckwheat from Deer Creek Malthouse. This Saison was primary fermented with our Magickal Saison yeast in a new French oak foudre the innoculated with Side Project’s mixed culture and aged for six months.

Taster at Spuyten Duyvil during Zwanze. Light yellow murky color, small white head. Smells of peach, apricots, stone fruits, flowery, grassy. Very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes of peach, grassy, lactic, apricots, herbal. Finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of apricots, lactic notes and grassy notes.very nice one, but quite sour and dry 8,4,7,3,15

Bottle thanks to Brad. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head. The aroma is strong funk, earth, oak. Slick body, funky, lemon, cheese, oak, light tartness, very nice.

Draught @ Hops Hill, Brooklyn. Tart, oaky and funky yeasty with some ripe fruits, farmyard and citrus and some sourness. Pretty balanced funky saison.

More sour than expected but nice yeasty back. Hints of the barrel.
