500ml bottle. Clear, dark copper-ish, red-brown colour with small to average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, some caramel. Taste is sweet-ish, dark malty, minimally leafy hoppy, notes of malt lozenge, hints of caramel, a minimally alcoholic touch, bitter hoppy counterpart. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium carbonation. A bit simple and monotonous - OK.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Deep nut brown, mid sized head. Bready malt aroma. Mid sweet with medium to full body and soft mouthfeel. Soft bready, husky malt. Fairly low bitterness. Mild, pleasant and richly malty.

Euro-Flasch'n: Deep ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy beige head; sweet nutty-caramelly nose with very mild herbal traces in the background; sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a DB, pretty soft; mild and soft caramelly finish with an increasing bitterness towards the finish. Not a demanding, but a well drinkable Dvojitý kozel...

Geringe Karbonisierung. Mild hefig süß-röstiger Antrunk. Eher wässrig, die Malzigkeit ist enttäuschend mild. Harmonisch aber sehr mild, trockenes Mundgefühl. Okay. 8/9/8/7/9/8

Bottle. Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, simple but nice. Taste is exactly the same. Medium carbonation. Nice one - very simple, but very tasty nonetheless.

Brown with little head. Aroma is nuts, raisins, dates, good dried fruit. A bit dry metallic, some sweetness as well. Ok but a bit stale.

(bottle) Clear, ruby coloured hue with a big and loose, slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, Bavarian Blockmalz a little bit but also hints of sugar beet; in the back vaguely traces of chocolate. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Slightly roasted malty base with notes of caramel, shades of chocolate but also this slightly veggie sugar beet touch; moderately sweet and delicately tart finish with chalky notes and a muted alcoholic strength. Okay but surely not one of my favourite DB´s. 29.VII.17
