Dunkel röstiger, eher trockener Antrunk. Mild röstig, wenig herb. Zunehmend hefiger, etwas kaum noch röstig, metallern. Okay. 8/8/8/7/8/8

Bottle. Dark amber color with big eggshell head. Aroma is chocolate, banana, creamy. Taste is chocolate, banana, some other fruits, cream. Silky mouthfeel, low carbonation. A bit of a weird off-fruit aftertaste, but besides that, very nice.

(bottle) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and firm off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly earthy malty and wheaty aroma with mildly toasted and berry-fruity notes. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Mildly dark malt character, present wheaty notes, traces of chocolate and berry fruits; mildly sweet and slightly berry-fruity finish with a whiff of chocolate. Likeable. 27.VI.17

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Odd tart and farty nose. Medium body, a little burned caramel and yeast with a strange bon-bon note. I believe something isn’t quite right here - otherwise it’s a rather unusual Dunkle Hefe. 261111

Bottle. It pours a creamy, finger-thick off-white to light beige head over an almost clear dark reddish brown body. There’s a touch of acidity on the nose, with caramel, some banana and dried fruits and a touch of something spiced. Lightly acidic in the finish, with a roasted touch and caramel. Some banana hints in the far back. Medium body, dry and quite effervescent. Not bad in any way, but probably as far from a dunkelweizen I’ve had a dunkelweizen so far. 111126
