On tap at Rr, Oslo. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark chocolate, nougat and coffee. The flavour more or less mirrors the aroma. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Sweet and roasted, and well balanced.

Can. An oily close to black beer with no head. Maple syrup, coffee, toffee and chocolate in the aroma. Alcohol too. It's full-bodied, warming, oily, sticky and very soft on the palate, with lots of dark flavors. Maple syrup, roasted malts, coffee and some dark chocolate in the rather sweet flavor. Quite a lot of caramel too. Everlasting sweet finish with lots of maltyness. A rather heavy one, almost too much. Nice though. 200824

Ecellence in a can Sweet, but still quite balanced for a beer like this. Creamy and smooth texture. Pleasant and easy to drink. Nice intensity in the aroma. Nose is happy. Toffee, dark malt, molasses, vanilla, chocolate and some spices in the flavor [Can from Vinmonopolet Torvbyen in Fredrikstad, Norway]
