Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma: plums, raisins, dried fruits and caramelly malts. Taste: sweet cherries and dried fruits. Sweet palate.

# 3074; 6/2022. Chocolate, spicy, Amaretto aroma. Dark brown body, persistant tany head. Chocolate, Amaretto, alcohol, sweet cherry, dried plum. Good stout. Half of pint, hand-pulled, pub, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Black with a thick light brown head. It has a dark maltiness with a light sweetness rather than any roasted influence, and its strength provides depth. Described as dirty by my server, but I think this is unfair if meant literally.

Cask at the strugglers inn. Almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty chocolate and slight sweet almond. Full smooth body.
