0.5l bottle. Golden body, white head. Aroma of grainy malts and some bread with a bit of floral hops. Sweet bready, grainy taste. A bit too sweet for my taste.

Bottled@PBF2012. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is cardboard, alcohol, grass, grains and some mild herbs. Flavour is rather similar. Thin palate and quite harsh. A very cheapo product feel to this. More a malt liquor than a doppelbock.

Strangely, it has a blond color. Some aroma and flavor of cereals. Not exciting, not too bad.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 14.08.2012 16:36
Rather pale appearance for a doppelbock. Aroma is sweetish and rather strong on butter. Also some honey and hints of grassy hops – feels actually like a strong pils. Flavour is rather strong on grassy hops, some butter and grainy malt. Not very bock‐like, an imperial pils, I’d say. But a good one, the grassy hops are really nice here.
