Rocky white head a finely carbonated unclear golden coloured body.
Bread, rustic & spiced aroma.
Biscuit, spices, bready & clove tastes with a peppery finish.
Not highly rated but I quite like this.

Pyraser Josephi Bier, Flasche von Fränky, Heroldsberg. - Dunkel goldgelb, blank. - Blasse Nase mit schmalspurigem hellen Malz und vager Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk satt hellmalzig aber etwas rauh bzw. strohig. Gestreßte Süße mit säuerlichen Zügen. Kräftige aber leere krautige Bittere. Gut rezent, vollmundig aber harsch. Im Abgang harte Bittere mit metallischen Zügen. - Ein Industriebock ohne die malzige Fülle eines guten Bockbieres, dafür mit harten, strohigen Zügen, die den Genuß merklich beeinträchtigen. Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is sugarx malt some herbs grassy hops slight banana. Taste is bitter alcoholic malt with slight vegetable sweetness. Finish is awkward uncanny bitterness with more vegetables. Medium drinkable. Somehow off.

Bottle. Clear golden color with small white head. Aroma is honey, a bit melon, a bit papery pale malts. Taste is honey, pale malts, a bit sweet. Medium carbonation. Not a bad Heller Bock.

Dark golden/light orange, some bubbles floating to the top, creamy head, slowly dissipating. Aroma is mainly sweet with honey and a touch of caramel, notes of apple and white grapes. A light herbal feel brings a fresh touch. Taste reflects aroma, but is much less clean, alcohol is too easily noticeable. Finish is grassy bitter and not very well integrated with the dominant sweet feeling. Medium to heavy body, a bit too sticky on the palate. Interesting, but not convincing

Hell alkoholischer, getreidig herber Antrunk. Der Alkohol ist nicht sonderlich versteckt sondern springt einen fast an, geringe Bitterkeit. Wenig hopfig, mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Ok. 9/8/8/9/8/8

Das Bier hat eine klare goldene Farbe und eine ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, grasig, leichte Süße. Geschmack scharf malzig, getreidig, grasig bitter.

Bottle from trade with McTapps, many thanks Sabine. Golden color With medium white head. Strong malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with honey and alcohol.

Bottle. Aroma adjuncty, sweetish. Clear yellow colour. Taste is mostly sweet, with only background bitterness. Again adjuncty flavour, the higher ABV is clearly noticeable though not overly alienish. Average, I remain unimpressed.

golden in the glass. the beer starts malty, sweet, a bit neutral. The mainpart is smooth, malty-sweet, slightly alcoholic. The aftertaste is smooth, nicely yellow fruit, slightly sweet. Nice. --> 12/12/10/10
