Bottle, 6.5%. Very dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, hop, caramel, little bread and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, pine, grapefruit, caramel and medium bitter.

Can. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, rich hops, fruits, flowers and caramel. Light bitter finish.

Can. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Red amber colour. Moderatemalty and hoppy aroma. not powerfull but balanced nice. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Chocolate notes. Moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Can @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy red brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 050816

330ml can from Ales by Mail. Pours deep, dark brown with a thick cream-coloured head. Light haze. Good hoppy aroma, grapefruit and red fruits. Taste is bitter, light sweet caramel. Bitter finish. A delicious insult to history!

Cloudy dark brown colour, small frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Strong aroma, dark malts, cocoa, orange peel, wood, pine, light chalk. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, chocolate, light fruitiness, bit piney, herbal touch. Bittersweet aftertaste, chocolate and fruity notes, piney bite at the end. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, well-balanced and complex, tasty.

Can. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Reddy, chestnut brown. Soft haze. Dense, lasting, clingy, beige head. Some legs. Looks good. Nose has scorched citrus. Roast coffee bean. Prominent, herbal yeast. Taste has roast malt, coffee bean sweetness. Light roast bitterness. Soft, citrusy tang. Smooth mouthfeel. Some silkiness. Pretty full. Smooth, rich, fruity bitter finish. Nice one.

330ml can. Cloudy dark brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Hoppy aroma has notes of spruce and pine, a touch of green onion, dark malty basis with notes of dark chocolate, a cautious metallic and chalky touch as well. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, grassy, woody, herbal, minimally chalky, notes of spruce, roasty dark malty background with hints of dark chocolate, cold & insipid coffee; cautious tropical fruity interludes. Nicely dirty and with rough edges, as prescribed by this oxymorontic style.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Can. Almost clear dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Candy fruits. Spicy floral hop. Touch of passion fruit and mango led tropical fruits and mild hop skunk. Light pine. Light finish. A nice hop complexity with this CDA.
