Black, traces of light foam. Big sweet smell; chocolate, bourbon. Very nice body, creamy, soft, tiny carbonation, lightly boozy. Taste is sweet, rich, velvety chocolatey. Plenty of bourbon going on, slight honeycomb, but the chocolate is up front. Lovely.

Can, 12%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, bourbon and a little vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, little bourbon, little vanilla, sweet, warming, barrel and medium bitter.

330ml can @ tasting 30.1.21. Poured pitch black in color. Bourbon heaven. Malty, roasty, fairly smooth. Full bodied. Sweet but balanced. Awesome stuff.

ABV: 12.0%. Cloudy dark dark brown colour with a small, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, barrel, bourbon, caramel, honey - warm honey, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, bourbon - labre larver, barrel, honey - sweet malt, caramel, rich, dark malt, light chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210114]
