750ml bottle. Murky, amber-ish brown colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Smoky, slightly chocolately and caramel malty aroma, notes of smoked ham, smoked eel, beechwood. Taste is smoky, tart-ish, dry, woody, minimally tannic, roasty and chocolately malty, hints of smoked ham, beechwood; well hidden alcohol.

Hazy brown with little white head. Aroma is apple and ham. Weird. Taste is bitter, salty, awkward something, a little watery. This one was very strange.

Tap. Hazy orange-brown color with white head. Aroma is smoky ham, quite some wood. Taste is smoky ham, wood, malty-caramely. Okay, not my favourite.

A bit dirty earthy hops on the nose, murky brown, golden lace. Surprisingly light grassy earthy base, dry spices, dry light body, herbal conifer finish

2015 version, only 750 bottles made. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Nice malty-alcoholic aroma, hints of caramel. Starts quite strong, malty, alcoholic, not too intense. Nice and interesting light sourish notes, hints of berries. Not too roasty, some woody notes. Finish still fruity-sourish, strong. Warming finish. Quite drinkable for its strength. Good one, although quite expensive.

Hytte 240715. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is smoke, malt, caramel, alcohol. Flavour is smoke, hop, fruit, caramel, malt, bread, alcohol, fruit, dried fruits. Full body. OK beer.

* 75cl @ 11,49€. 2015er Edition. Toller dunkler Doppelbock. Intensiv, dickflüssig, Eine schöne Melange aus Röstmalz mit Rauch. Schwer im Abgang, leicht alkoholisch, moderat herb, leicht rauchiger Nachgeschmack mit intensivem Malz auf der Zunge. Lecker!

Bottle, 75cl corked. From trade with fonefan. A hazy, dark amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is lightly smoked, ham-like and with some dried fruits and caramel. It’s lighlty warming on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Full body. Caramel, dried fruits, some smoked ham and a generic fruityness. Vienna-ish malts. Long finish with some smoked notes. Quite decent this one, but sort of boring. 150724

Bottle 750ml @ gunnfryd’s hytte
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, smoke, caramel, alcohol and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, caramel, smoke and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
