0,5 l swing top bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear golden with a more than one finger white foamy head in the glass. Grainy caramel smell. Taste starts mor on the caranel side, increasing dray grainy with some bitterhop in the second part. Thin and watery. Little bit metallic. Below average for a bavarian Helles.

50cl swing top bottle. A clear golden beer with a big off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet fresh grainy malt and straw. Taste of mild sweet pale malt, grains and straw, mild bitterness. Easy to drink.

Leicht muffiger Beginn. Helles Malz, trockene Herbe, dann schnell auch bitter werdend. Es fehlt dabei Tiefgang, der Hintergrund ist wässrig und bleibt es auch. 7/5/7/5/8/5

Schnapp-Flascherl: Golden, clear, small persistent white head, metallic traces in the mild grainy-strawy nose; mild - as well - bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied to watery; slightly lingering bitter-sweet strawy-metallic finish. Yawn...

Medium, white head, reasonably stable over clear metallic golden beer. Bit spicy nose, malts, toasted. Again spicy malts in the flavour, but with a metallic bitterish surround that is rather annoying. Toastiness all but gone. Springwater quality, however. Light body, and light carbonation almost to the point of being still. Not impressed by this one. Thanks to Stef!
