(draught at the brewpub) Clear, deep golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Sweet (cara-)malty aroma with notes of honey, present herbal hops and a tinge of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Hearty malt-character with notes of biscuits, caramel and rounded herbal accents; sweet honey-ish malty finish with delicate herbal hoppy notes and a whiff of warming alcohol. Balanced and hearty pale Bock. 07.XI.10

On tap at the brewery. Golden colour. Thin head. Big pale malt bready aroma. Soft body for a Frankenbock. This brings more sugars across the palate with a gentle hallertau spiciness over top. Clean and tasty.

On draught at the brewery-tap: Deep golden to light amber coloured, thin, but stable white head; honey in the nose and a tinge of hoppiness; moderate bitter-malty flavour; medium bodied; quite dry, bitter finish. A well drinkable, decent Bock.
