Cask @ Bailey Head. Pours dark, small tan topping. Dark fruit on the nose. Taste brings liquorice hints, dark fruit, light treacle.. fairly light bodied, good stuff.

Cask at Reading BF. Black with a beige head. Toffee, treacle and chocolate with a light toasty note. It's fine. But not very exciting.

Cask at Cornubia, Bristol. Black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, cocoa, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone black beer lasting tan head. Molasses a little smoke. Some chocolate. Some charcoal. Watery mouthfeel. OK but not my style.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/89/2018. Jet black in colour, with a thin, beige head. Toasty malts, plain chocolate, a hint of coffee and some creamy smoothness before a dryish finish. A very good stout.
