Bottle sample. [ As Superstition Tahitian Honeymoon Mead ].Clear light to medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, fruity honey, vannila, vanilla beans, apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, honey, vanilla, fruity honey, vanilla beans. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. Flat, clear light straw colored. Aroma is first slightly sweet fruity, almost like an apple cider mead or something. Then the bad parts takes over; weeds, apple cores, booze, flowers, fruit stones, flowers, minerals, apple peel, sulfur, old sour wash cloth, bark. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish boozy, honey, flowers, harsh fruit stones, booze, apple peel, grass, yellow apples, hay, minerals, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a clear very light straw colour with a few bubbles. The aroma is rich honey, oaky, light vanilla, vinous alcohol... rather like a rich woody Californian Chardonnay. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, sugary, warm alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. I could sip this all night long and some more.

Bottle, many thanks derA! Transparent yellowish color with no head. Aroma is vanilla, phenolic. Taste is vanilla, honey, phenolic. Oily mouthfeel, but quite light despite the ABV. Not exactly too nice. derA claims something went wrong here.

Bottle. Pours clear very pale lemon yellow. Aroma is honey, flowers, vanilla. Body is medium, very sweet with a strong honey profile, also floral, and very intense. Long honey palate. Good.
