Kinda light, kinda fun, nutty flowery and mild medium vanilla, nice sipper and easy going.

Another Annie photo replacement, still delish, still above applies!

Bottle shared by Andrew, thanks! Pours a clear pale straw yellow with a thin white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma combines vanilla and a slightly sweet honey with a touch of dryness backing. Flavor has sweet honey and dry honey with a bit of vanilla underlying.

Pours a very clear, light pale yellow. Scent is subtile. honey, traces of vanilla, but not as intense as hoped or expected. Taste is gentle, honey (natural, mild funky, medium intense). Vanilla is fairly mild, i get the actual vanilla spice, the herbal side of it, clearly recognizable, but not what I expected (the more aromatic Vanilla often found in Imperial stouts). Anyways, it's vanilla, natural, and fairly intense, but only rises up in the aftertaste. A genlte mead, whilst I expected it to be more of a 'nilla blast. Pretty enjoyable, but better towards the earlier side of a line up when tasting superstition meads, to me. 7.4/10

rerate a few months later. A bottle more fresh. much more ice cream / aromatic vanilla. Still not the sweet, almost lactic vanilla in Imperial stout. Liked it more now (8/10)

2/12/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours very pale amber with no head. Aroma of flowers, honey, herbs, vanilla and a hint of green tea. Medium sweetness and very light tartness. Moderate body, sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Very nice.

750ml bottle. 13.5%. 2015. Batch No. 0406. Bottle 130 of 300. Golden amber colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of honey, tart fruity, vanilla beans. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, with vanilla and spicy boozy notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, residual sweet and boozy at the finish. Nicely sippable.
