12 oz. can from Total Wine - San Antonio, TX. Pours a pitch black color with a tight, fine tan head and great retention. Lots of spots of lacing. Coffee-dominant aroma. Sweet lactose and coffee flavors with a strong, lingering finish. The creamy chocolate and vanilla/lactose notes are strong enough to keep the 8.3% ABV from becoming too aggressive. A bit too much coffee flavor for me, but overall it's a well made imperial milk stout. Appropriately heavy body. Low carbonation. Medium-light bitterness. The 8.3% ABV is somewhat hidden, yet warming. Good, sneaky strong dessert beer.

Poured from the tap. Dark brown with minimal off white head. Mild burnt caramel, gentle roast, mainly comparing this to Beaus Crème Brûlée which is my most recent similar beer and it’s better. As good as you could expect for the style. Good balance.
By far the best beer I had here tonight!

Jet black with a decent light brown head. Chocolate and vanilla. Cream, chocolate, vanilla and graham cracker. Coffee in the finish. Not really creme brulee.
