Mein Großvater war ein Brauer in Trinidad.
Er pflegte zu sagen: „Wenn für Helles kein Platz mehr ist, dann kommt Zombräu auf die Erde!“
Und jetzt ist es soweit!
Macht euch bereit. Euch erwartet etwas, das euer Leben umkrempelt, auf den Kopf stellt und um 180° dreht.
Die gesamte Kraft der Unterwelt wurde beschworen, um ein ganz besonderes Bier zum Leben zu erwecken. Unendlich viele Hühner wurden geopfert.* Geschälte Tomaten bei Vollmond unter einem Hollunderbusch verscharrt. Und Schlangenaugen wurden in Pentagrammform auf Stoffpuppen befestigt.
Das entfesselte eine unbrechbare Macht. Keiner kann sich dem Bann von Macumba entziehen. Also versucht es erst gar nicht. Dann werdet ihr sehen was es wirklich ist...

26/2/2020. Bottle from Meisterstück München, enjoyed back at my hotel. Pours clear bright amber with a foamy just off-white head. Aroma of resin, fruit, veg, malt, hops and caramel. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, quite carbonation. It’s alright but asn’t the best of the day.

Amber with little white head. Aroma is grapes gooseberries toffee apricots. Taste is flat stale bitter with slight fruits. Drinkable but mealy and heavy. Too oxidized.

Tap. Dark amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, resinous, grapefruit, a bit oxidized. Taste is the same, with a lot of fresh yeasts. Medium carbonation, sticky, meh.

330ml bottle. Murky amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, lychee, a sugary touch. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally chalky and peppery, slightly fruity, hints of lychee, a touch of nectarine; minimally sticky palate.

Trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, trocken, reife Aprikosen. Geschmack hopfig bitter, Aprikosen, mango, interessant, gut!

Tap at bkl2016. Onion, herb hop aroma. Grey golden offwhite head. Dry hoppy entry, fairly herbal an minerally, straw base, a bit unbalanced

Hopfig bitterer, eher scharfer Antrunk. Grasig, angenehm würzig, ein wenig malzig. Die Bitterkeit bleibt stark, der Hopfen angenehm im Vordergrund. Süffig, zum Ende trockener und deutlich weniger hopfig. 10/9/9/9/7/9

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly unclear, amber colour with a firm, medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Fruity and slightly resiny hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, black tea and spruce, accompanied by a mildly malty background. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Dry malt character with fruity and slightly piney hops; dry and moderately bitter and fruity hoppy finish with resiny notes.
