This golden ale carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma. A suggestion of biscuit is found in the beer’s varied palate. Brewed with our 2-row barley blend, hopped with Nugget and Hallertau, then fermented on our house yeast, Tripel offers up a complex, yet dry finish.

12 oz. Bottle (as Allagash Tripel) delivered from Cloudwater and drunk at home. Light gold and clear with a small white head. Spicy and bready yeast notes on the nose with some honey. Sweet taste balanced with light hoppy bitterness. More sweet spice and honey. Slightly drying finish. Full body with heavy carbonation. Doesn't taste anything near 9%. A great Tripel.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Interesting aroma of fita, wit like aromas. Tripel Karmeliet aroma almost. Quite a sipid apperance. Lovely taste however, and great Belgian feel to it. Certainly a great tripel for not being Belgian. A pleasure to drink.

Bottle from Grain Schooner. Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of straw and coriander. Flavour of lemon sponge, sea salt and celery. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Refreshing and full flavoured. An excellent beer.

355ml bottle (no Reserve designation) from Cloudwater online shop. Pours golden with a very light haze, small persistent white head. Aroma of spices, yeast esters, fruity. Taste of yeast esters, peppery, spicy, caramel, fruity, banana bread, sweet and grainy malts but ends dry and moderately bitter. Medium bodied. A lovely Tripel, probably the best non-Belgian one I've had. And strangely this is my first ever Allagash!

5oz pour (as Allagash Tripel) on a flight at The Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano on 1st February 2022. I enjoyed it so much I had another pour in my second flight! Clean amber body, off-white head. Boozy, sweet and 'Belgium' in a glass. Just a lovely drink, could have drank it all night but I was on a mission for ticks and didn't want to wake up rough in the morning.

Pale yellow, slightly hazy, full head. Yeast and banana aroma. Taste of pineapple, ywast, passion fruit and banana. Sweet and slightly bitter at the end.
