This golden ale carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma. A suggestion of biscuit is found in the beer’s varied palate. Brewed with our 2-row barley blend, hopped with Nugget and Hallertau, then fermented on our house yeast, Tripel offers up a complex, yet dry finish.

Bottle at home picked up from HOTM. A clear mid golden colored pour with a fine white head. Aroma is nice clean pils grains, woody bark, light apple, some alcohol , Belgian spicy yeast esters,. Flavour is composed of clean pils, bitter oak, light spice, dried apple, honey, Some warming alcohol in the finish. Palate is semi crisp, haggish carbonation . Alcohol bite. Very good tripel.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours light hazy bright gold with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet honeyed grain, cereal, nougat, honey oat bread, pear drops, melon, hay and a touch of spice. The taste is initially smooth, bitter - sweet, rich honeyed cereal, bready malts, touch of sponge cake, nougat, honey cake, mid palate dryness, some spice, grass, hay, fruitiness and some alcohol warmth through the finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rounded and flavourful. A well crafted tripel. Moreish and has stood the test of time as a quality beer.

Bottle. Gold with a dense white head. Aroma of honeyed dough, passionfruit, oranges and their blossoms. Creamy texture with moderate carbonation. (Perhaps slightly too) sweet with fruit and honeyed dough before spicy bitterness and a lick of booze rein things in. Gently powerful. A really good tripel.

Batch #50. Vanilla aroma with a hint of citrus. Hoppy, somewhat creamy flavor, just a bit flowery. Hoppy aftertaste, somewhat alcoholic. Nice and easy going tripel.

Draft, poured cloudy bright light gold. Full body, yeasty banana aroma. Dry coriander, apricot and banana, and yeasty taste. As the beer warms the finish loses fruit tones and turns spicier.

Bottle shared with Inoven and TomHendriksen. Clear yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, some yeast, honey, lightly herbal notes perhaps. Can't really get more. Hard to describe. Medium body and carbonation. Meh. Not my style I guess. 6-3-6-4-11

Glas gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een troebel licht geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige wat moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en zacht honing achtig met een kruidige afdronk.

An unanticipated discovery at the Palm Desert, CA Total Wine, I picked up a four pack of Tripel to bring home. The top comes off the 12 oz bottle and I tilt into my Chimay glass. It returns a cloudy, off-yellow liquid with a just-covering, pure white top. Plenty of carbonation replenishing. The scent is pears, apricot and spice. A taste, ooh, that is pretty fine. Candied fruit, yellow plum, apricot, wheat bread. Fairly spicy, cloves mostly. More bitter than most tripels I can recall, I approve. No alcohol to be detected at all. Every bit as good as Karmeliet
