Poured a reddish brown. Caramel malts and some hops. Got that characteristic maine beer lightness. Pretty good

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Best by 8/1/2016. Purchased on 12/4/2016 at State Line Liquors. Clear dark amber with off-white head. Aromas of malt, candied orange citrus, biscuit, light floral notes, some toasty notes. Tastes of citrus, malt, biscuit, candied lemon and orange, light floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Still drinkable but definitely past prime.

Deep copper coloured body with a nice micro-foamed tan head, about two centimetres tall with a smooth ruby tint - very nice. Aroma of alcohol, earthier and more astringent hop scents along with some more noticeable grain and bready smells from the yeast. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty and very rich flavours with the yeast, grain, alcohol and bready bitterness shining through only showing a touch of the hop bitterness at the end. Aftertaste has a bit of a alcohol and very dry malt flavour and pushes the malt biterness over anything hop-centric. Overall, a decent IPA with a big emphasis on bitterness - but not from the hops - these are all malt, yeast and alcohol-related flavours. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Hannaford in Portland, Maine on 30-July-2016 for US$8,99 sampled at home in Washington on 26-November-2016. Best By Date on Bottle: August 01, 2016

$7.99 bomber from Wine Warehouse. Pours red, no doubt about it, with almost an inch of orange-tinted off-white head. Aroma is heavy pine, citrus, burnt caramel. Flavor is tasty! Citrus (indiscernible), burnt sugar, honey, caramel. Lingering sweet finish.

22oz bottle, purchased at a store in MD. Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a small very lightly off-white head. Aroma was citrus, light pine resin. Flavor was decently balanced between the hop and malts. Light citrus notes.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Clear mahogany color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt and fruity hops. The finish is malty up front with a mild citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
