Drucken på cask på Akkurrat. Lätt disig bärnstensfärgad med vit skumpuck. Frisk humlig och blommig doft, mycket citrus, citrusmarmelad, lite tall och gräs. Mycket drickvänligt.

Session IPAs fall within the ABV range freely marketable in Sweden, got this one from a supermarket in Stockholm. Moderate gusher, but manageable. Egg-white, moussy, membrane-lacing, bit irregular yet stable head, lightly hazy pale orangey blonde robe with ochre-ish edges, perturbed by fierce sparkling. Aroma of toasted onions, old bread crust, dried old lemon peel, jute, old herbarium plant specimens, armpit sweat, potato juice. Clean, very restrained onset, hardly any sweetness at all, dried apple peel and unripe banana notes, vague apricot, minerally and sharp carbonation, light sourish undertone; smooth, oily mouthfeel, feeling quite 'full' for a beer not even reaching 4% ABV. Slick cereally and bread crust-like maltiness quickly dried by a weedy, grassy, herbal hop bitterness, a bit 'dusty' and relatively soft in bitterness, but still delivering a lingering quinine-like effect, with even a vaguely grapefruity edge to it. Modern hop-forward quencher, enjoyable and well-made, but I tend to expect more aromatic hoppiness from an ISA than is the case here - yet supermarket specimens are probably not too representative for a delicate style like this.

200ml draught at Spritmuseum Brygga & Berså. A filmy layer blanketing the glass. Bright golden body. Piney fruity nose, dry. Moderate taste profile of bread-like malts and slightly spiced fruits. Short, mid-sweet fruity ending. Thin to medium bodied. Accepted. (Shared with Kjell, Stockholm 27.07.2018).

Bottled, as Ötillö. Pours pale yellow with white head. Grainy, a bit skunky aroma, earthy and unbalanced bitterness. Not a fan.
