Definitely nutty coffee. Roast and caramel. Light vanilla. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish with some tang from coffee beans. Some booze and sweetness in the finish. Tap at Pizza Paradiso as More Coffee Porter?

473ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is oily tar, alcohol and vanilla. Taste has oily roast and almond to start. Vanilla, roast and almond finish. Boozy. A little coffee on the aftertaste.

ABV: 11.5%. Sparkling, speaking and clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, sweet malt, dark malt, almonds, cold coffee, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, molasses - maple, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, almond, alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200729]

Can. A- Almonds, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. A- Coffee, chocolate, almonds, vanilla, marzipan, slightly boozy. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- No doubt it's good but at what point are all of Evil Twin's stouts and porters basically the same beer with a new name and even higher price tag. Very good all that said. Reminded me of a delicate chocolate ganache .

Can 1 pint. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, brownish head. Distinct coffee nose, also with some sweet vanilla. Rich, sweet, vanilla and roast body – everything solidly balanced. You don’t really sense how big a beer this actually is. It’s just joyful drinking. 260319

Draught at Brouwerij Lane: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some coffee, roasty malts. Taste is sweet, but not too sweet. Smooth, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Good.
