Draft. A red-brown beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, caramel, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours dark amber with a white head. Aroma is dark fruit, malt. Taste is light and kind of sweet. Low hoppiness. Pretty mellow for a doppelbock. Not bad and pretty easy.

Brown color with a light beige head with medium retention. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, nutty hints. Flavor is slightly sweet, notes of some spices, dry fruits notes and burnt caramel. Slightly bitterness in the final with caramelish hints.

A dark copper coloured, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has dark bread, richness of malts, some herbs. Taste is bready and malty, nice herbal bitterness, even some smoke in the end. Smooth, medium bodied, easy to drink. Tasteful beer, enjoyable and enough of personality.

Decent ok doppelbock.
Clear nutty color with a fine off white head. Nutty, caramel and mild spiced aroma with an ok intensity. Medium (+) body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. A bit oily texture. Bready, toffee, nutty, some spices and mild fruity flavor.
