Bottle from Saveur Biere. Pours chestnut brown with a ruby tint and a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, toffee, chocolate and bread. Medium/heavy sweetness, light bitterness, just a touch of sour. Medium body, sticky texture. Finish is lasting sweetness and sticky chocolaty mouthfeel. Nice one, and best of the 5 Einstök beers I’ve tried so far.

Bottle. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is molasses, toffee, herbal bonbon. Taste is herbal bonbon, caramel and toffee. Full-bodied, but no too complex. Nice Doppelbock.

Clear deep amber colour, good frothy beige head, mostly lasting, fair lacing. Shy aroma, roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, light dark fruits. Smooth flavour, light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, light spicy notes. Malty sweetbitter finish, roasted, spicy and woody notes. I miss some depth but nevertheless nice.

On tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen. Clear dark amber with a small head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Similar taste. Sweet and with a thick mouthfeel.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter av sjokolade og karamellmalt. Fyldig og kjenner mye sødme i smak. Noe bitter i ettersmaken.

Draught at Tap 10. Cloudy amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, dusty notes, ripe fruits, bread. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with toffee and toasted notes. Nice bock.

33cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Clear reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, dark fruits, raisins. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, hint of chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, yeast. Medium bodied at best.

Draught @ Malt and Mold - Gramercy. Clear reddish brown with small foamy beige head, fruity aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish berry taste with caramelized malt, thin body, longish caramelized malt finish. Easy drinking.

Sredniak, naprawdę bez rewelacji inne piwa z Islandii o wiele smaczniejsze. Czkawke miałem bo było zbyt słodkawe, zbyt karmelowe. Piana ladna bardzo szybko opada, kolor rubinowo czerwony, Klarowne w zapachu trochę kasztanow jadalnych i truskawek. Ale smak to tylko karmel i to w nieskonczonosc się ciagnacy. Niezbyt udane chyba.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Mørkebrun. Lavt skum. Svak, litt søtlig maltaroma. Smaken balansert. Mye malt. Lett syrlig etter hvert. Behagelig øl.
