A rich copper IPA with a robust initial rye flavor. Spicy bitterness up front gives way to a smooth and dry malt finish. The perfect brew for the start of the fall season.

Pours a wonderful slightly hazy copper from a can, thick pillowy head retains, cream colored. Big grain aroma, sort of a sour rye loaf. Flavor starts with rye, eases into a well balanced caramel malt, never too grainy, sweet or bitter. Pretty good beer.

Pours slightly hazed deep amber into a shaker. White micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving no lacing. Caramel and spicy pumpernickel aromas. Smooth with sweet caramel, multigrain and rye upfront turning to earthy pine in the medium length finish. Nicely done.

Aroma is pine and caramel. Flavor is light rye, pine like hops, and a caramel malt back bone. Six years ago this would’ve been fire. Now it just seems really dated. Still well made.
