16 oz. can. Pours black, with a medium, rocky, brown head. The nose is dark chocolate, maple syrup, cashews, butter toffee, and vanilla. Sweet and sugary, with a touch of booze. Thick and chewy, with a nice biting finish. Decadent and cloying, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Can - viscous black pour with a well-sustained tan head - I really appreciate the balance they went for (and achieved) here - a stout this strong with honey and maple could easily become goopy and cloying - the maple and honey are present but understated - honey adds a nice earthy complexity - creamy texture - full body - chocolate, espresso, vanilla, maple - a light acidity and black malt bitterness on the tail end, with some mild caramelized sugars - I dig this beer - if only it weren’t 5 bucks a can.

16 oz can from Half Time, 4/19/22. Pours black, with a creamy and frothy medium brown head. Rich and malty. Roast and chocolate forward. Bit of maple syrup and honey coming through, but not adding a ton of sweetness at all. Much more of a classic, drier Imperial Stout than I expected from the description, which is very welcome in 2022, that is for sure. Rich and flavorful. Hides the booziness rather well. Really nice stuff.

16 oz. can. Pitch black liquid. Thin tan head. Aroma has molasses, honey, and roast. The flavor is rich yet doesn’t become overly sweet. Maple and honey upfront with roast as a counterpoint. Maple tastes more like molasses to me. A slick texture with appropriate body. Alcohol is totally hidden. Exceptional!

Roast and dark chocolate. Light maple and some honey. Some fig, sweet tobacco. Black oily pour with great creamy mocha head and lacing. Bittersweet finish with lasting coffee aromas. Nice. Can.

Smooth, rich body. Boozy, sweet honey notes more so than maple
