Pours a thick, dark, oily black (well named), with minimal head. Aroma is chocolate, coconut, woody notes, dark fruit. Flavors follow. Very, very sweet, though avoids booziness. Thick mouthfeel.

Snifter at Flying Saucer in Little Rock. Pours black with a dirty tan head that clings to the glass. Aroma is chocolate, cookie dough, coconut, oatmeal, boozy dried fruit. Taste is chocolate, coconut, cookie dough, boozy dried fruit, roast malt comes through at the end. Solid stuff, boozy but well balanced and probably a bit too sweet to get a bigger score but it's proper filth!

19th February 2022, 5oz pour on a flight in The Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano. This was the most expensive beer at the Annual BA Event ($15:00 for 5oz). Was it worth it? Well not really, other great beers were priced at $4.00 to $8.00 each. This is however a very, very good beer and I really enjoyed it's richness and flavour.
