A data point or observation is a set of one or more measurements on a single member of unit of observation. All our beers across all our styles are based on data points. We felt it was the perfect name to test our newly hand-selected Mosaic Hops. Starting off with a big base of oats and wheat, we aggressively hopped this beer with our 2020 hand- selected Mosaic lot in both the whirlpool and the dry hop. Data Points pours a hazy, electric yellow, with a sweet aroma of citrus and berry, with flavors of navel orange, mango, herbal blueberry, earthy lime peel, and the Devil’s Lettuce. The #EQjuice builds up into a creamy and complex finish with a pop of juiciness, lending data that shows we truly do love our new Mosaic.

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of mango, passion fruit, yellow stone fruit, some blueberry, permanent leafy overtones, ephemeral zesty overtones. Taste is slightly zesty bitter, citrusy fruity and slightly tropical fruity hoppy, oaty and wheaty malty basis with basis with some residual sweetness, notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon, hints of mango, some orange peel. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. An interesting change of roles/dominance between tropical and citrusy fruity hop flavours regarding aroma/taste respectively; a tad watery - good.

Half-pint, draught at BrewDog Shoreditch. Shared with Finn. Stable white head, dotted spots on the glass. Hazy warm golden body. Inviting aromas of ripe citrus and passion fruits. Grapefruit to the taste buds added apricot, and juicy oats. Dough fruity ending, bittersweet. Well bodied. Pretty good. (London 12.02.2023).

Can at home in the garden, 11th August 22. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma candied fruits, orange, grapes, light spice. Taste is bright and punchy, orange, some zest, grapes and spice, thought it had Nelson in it, delicious, with a little bitter and fruity hit in the close.

30th July 2022 Can. Mild to medium haze on this orange beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Fuck my old boot! Long past hoping that Mosaic would ever get back to its best. Recent batches have been candy fruits and occasionally blueberry, and that had been an improvement on many years of almost anonymity. Here it's almost back to its peak. Lovely mango and papaya, a little candy fruits and a nice light touch of blueberry. Trace of bubblegum. Some tingling hop spice and smooth pine on the finish. Lovely lovely Mosaic. Back at last, well at least in this brew. I'm dewy eyed with nostalgia!
