We repurposed amazing but unsold bread which was destined for the landfill. Ukrainian rye and black Russian bread is added to the mash, creating a bready spice character. Look for rye spice alongside a smooth, toasty malt character. Thanks to our friends at Just Eat It for the inspiration on our waste free initiative.

Hazy hazelnut body and okay foam. Big round fruity rye aroma, cherry and grape hints. Taste is mellow biscuit, hazelnut notes. Okay carbonation but thin. Not bad, certainly not great.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark amber color, clean. A bit bready, but also some lingering sourness and butter; spicy rye. Not very pleasant.

Dark amber- brown. Sweet with phenols, bubblegum. On the palate, more of the bready notes. But too sweet and phenolic to really impress.
