473mL can, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy Belgian yeast and light berries -- somewhat confused. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy Belgian yeast, candi sugar, and a touch of berries. Decent expression of yeast but it's not all that complex and the flavour profile is rather muted. Okay, but doesn't seem all that competently dialed in.

Pours an interesting sienna hue and okay foam. Very muddy earthy grain on the nose, possible rustic berry but it's buried (ha!). Taste is chewy biscuit and some yeast, mellow berry to help round it out. Ends dry, carbonated, refreshing. Low key but nice.

So it's a biere de garde with blackcurrant. Pale purple and opaque, with a thin head. On the palate, fairly full body. Some plastic notes. Also, blackcurrant is in there, too. There's some alcohol that kicks into the finish. Is okay.
