Okay foam and an okay semi-cloudy orangey gold body. Smells of mellow chewy banana, soft chalky grain notes. Taste is good sharp caramel with soft lager hops. ends reasonably smooth and dry with lingering corn. Decent enough but not too interesting.

355mL can, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Nose is crisp and mild, with straw, a touch of spiciness from the Saaz, and biscuity malt. Flavour is lightly sweet, with grainy cerealy malt, straw, a touch of sweetness, and an even slighter touch of spiciness. Clean and very drinkable, but it's a kolsch -- how exciting can this be? Good.

Dark blond colour, clear. Bready aroma, and yeast smell, something I found recenty in Superflux lagers. Mellow, bready malt character, wet grains, wet paper, low bitterness, and not much hop character.
Pretty boring.

Poured from 355mL can. Deep gold with small white head. Grain and grass hops. Fine.

12oz @ Ryan's with Alex. Appearance: a bit hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: very grassy, a bit harsh. Taste: grassy, malty, with some hoppy bitterness. Overall: ok.

Dark gold – okay too dark for kolsch but it’s a nice colour. Frothy head. Just a slight haze. Lots of sweet malts, almost a bit too sticky, but there’s some good biscuity, juicy malt notes in there, too. The hops are understated for sure. So it doesn’t fit the style but it’s a good beer, nice golden.
