Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - Nase karamelwürzig mit nur einem Hauch von Hopfen. - Antrunk mild karamelmalzig. Helle Malzsüße, die etwas an den Aufguß von Dosenpfirsichen erinnert. Dazu ein klein wenig fruchtig-herber Hopfen: Aprikose, etwas Heu. Mild rezent, etwas dünn im Mund. Im Abgang nur schwache Hopfenaromen. - Süffig aber anspruchslos, für ein richtiges Kellerbier zu einfallslos gehopft. Wenn ich die durchweg positiven Bewertungen hier lese, frage ich mich ernsthaft, ob Hummel da nicht eine Flasche falsch etikettiert hat ...

Colour between deep golden en light amber, clear, small frothy white head, recedes quite quickly, thin layer remains, some lacing. Aroma malty, grain, bread, fruity notes,grassy hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nice lingering mild bitter finish.

Trübes goldgelbes Zwickel mit geringem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.

31/01/2014 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca pannosa morbida, abbondante. Al naso sentori di malto, miele, pane, latte, In bocca è piuttosto rustica rispetto ad altre keller bevute, dolciastra, pane, malto, caramello, non male. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Buona.

Oro non molta schiuma media persistenza leggero maltato un lieve amaro erbaceo finale con un po di ferro metallico forse non freschissima bottiglia scadenza febbraio

Bottle looks really good, I like that style. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts malty-spicy, a bit moldy, not too much. Mild sourish, a bit fruity like plum. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle @ home. Clear applejuice like yellow golden with a small white head. Smells malty, fresh, nice. Tastes malty, hay, sweetish, slightly iron. Medium body, soft carbo.

Sampled from 50cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Clear orange golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, some iron, lightly grainy, lightly sweet-bitter. Average body and carbonation. Hmm ok.

Bottle at Café Abseits, Bamberg. That’s a good beer. Good, perfect balance of malt and hop. Good bitterness on end. Seriously perfect aroma and balance. Some yeast ester too. Wow that’s incredible. It’s so well balanced. 4/5 Re-rate same place a year later. Good, but not as mind blowing as before.
