A rye porter brewed with cacao nibs and orange zest.

Bottle. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and orange. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, orange, sweet, warming, liquorice and medium bitter.

330ml bottle. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee and a little orange. Taste has orange oils throughout with dark chocolate, liquorice and a little coffee.

Keg at Brewdog Ealing, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, orange taste/aroma. Very nice flavoured porter.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 07/12/21. Black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is roast malts, molasses, brown sugars, hint of red berries, chocolate, light coffee, hint of alcohol. Taste comprises liquid fruit cake, chocolate, spice, dates, molasses, brown sugars, toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Decent straight up impy if lacking some depth.

deep dark brown colour, minimal brown head which disappears completely within a few minutes; aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, some burnt wood or ash, licorice and coffee; taste is similar to the aroma with some syrupy sweetness; correct one
