3 February 2019. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Hazy red with a lasting, thin, pink, frothy head; little lacing. Aroma of wheat, lemon peel, banana, red candy, strawberry, sweet cherry, grain, baby's bath foam. Taste is medium fruity sweet, cherry & red candy with an artificial feel, light wheaty sourness renders a soapy character, woody & cherry pit-like notes offer bitter touches & some balance, but there's a weird & raw grainy character all round. Short, grainy, cherry candy finish, soap & bath foam again. Light to medium body, syrupy texture, lively (numbing) carbonation. Weird aroma & taste, and completely spoiled by the carbonation. Excuse my French, but WTF is this?
