bottle from Zwettlers Salzburg. Hazy brown colour, tall off-white to beige head. Caramel and roasetd malts, yeasty, wheaty with shy banana hints. Well balanced, smooth palate.

Pours hazy dark amber/light brown with a lasting, small, frothy, off-white head; little lacing. Aroma of ripe plum, banana, cake, spiced cookie - cinnamon, toast, pear syrup, licorice. Medium malty sweet onset, plum & cake, some toast; bit toasted in the light spicy bitter middle. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, bit spicy, toasty effect, lingering dark fruit. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Not very complex, very drinkable though.
