Bottle. Pours hazy straw with stable, profuse white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of fruit and alcohol in the long nose. Bitter flavour of hops and alcohol, with sweetish notes of malt and yeast, with some fruity hints. Bitter, boozy aftertaste with malty and estery notes. Decent for the style, but that is probably due to the rather low ABV.

Refrigerated 33 cL brown bottle, best by January 26, 2019 poured into a snifter. Hazy deep golden with huge fluffy white head. Aroma is floral hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is floral hops and big golden malt. I guess this is a heller eisbock and I think this was my first.

Appearance: Yellow golden, hazy. Lots of bubbles. Nice amount of creamy white head.
Aroma: Light fruits, citrus.
Taste: Light fruits, citrus. Yes, peppery, with some bitterness. Different from the other Eisbocks I’ve tasted. A bit disappointed.

"Störtebeker Artik Ale", Flasche (33 cl). - Orangebraun, gut trüb. - In der Nase elegante obergärige Frucht (Ananas, Pfirsich), aromatisch zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen (Grapefruit, etwas Harz) und dichtes süßes Malz mit Honig. - Antrunk knackig zitrusfruchtig-harzig hopfenherb mit scharfer Pampelmuse. Sattes, tiefes helles Malz mit Kandis. Milder rezent, vollmundig, etwas hart im Mund. Geschickt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang wuchtige zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe mit Anklängen an Melone und weißen Pfeffer. - Sehr dichter und schwerer, dabei runder Eisbock mit exotischer Hopfung, etwas hart und schwer zu trinken.

Many thanks for this top eisbock beer to Mariusz. Coz tu mowic jest genialne coz za smak mocno chmielny żywiczno-cytrusowy. Piana spora i trwala, lekko mętne jaskrawej zloto-cytrynowej barwie, ladna etykieta. Zapach mocny jak perfumy, sosna swierki, ogolnie w smaku jak belgijskie ale zmieszane z podwojna IPA. Alkohol jak na eisbocka nie za wielki i przykładnie ukryty niczym sciaga na egzaminie maturalnym.A jaka potega w wytrawności, przy pozornej początkowej słodyczy. Doskonaly mrozony kozlaczek
