Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours hazy dull pale amber with a lasting slightly foamy white head. Aroma of hops, tropical fruit, lemon, pine and light herb. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, fruity, hoppy finish. Unlike other Eisbock's I've had, quite like a double IPA (Eis-IIPA as Patrick described it). Good beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yelowish golden with a slight haze and a creamy and lacing white head. Nose is kinda fruity, a little perfumy. Solid malty body, again quite fruity, but everything is quickly buried in a rather harsh and herbal biterness. Neither balanced nor pleasant, just raw. 050218

Tap in the Elbphilharmonie served in a tulip/snifter without a stem. Perfumed hop nose. Amber to golden, solid golden foam. Medium full light foamy body, sparkly bitterness, resinny hops, grassy, light piney, honeyish malt, a hint boozy, lightly sticky finish. Good malt liquor.

05.09.2017 -- 0.33l bottle from rewe in lörrach. pours a hazy golden with a big dense head and a nice lacing. aroma of spruce, lemon, candy, peach, a hint of vomit. flavour of grapefruit, grapefruit zest, herbs. creamy mouthfeel. quite bitter and not very sweet. this is an iipa, actually, a nice one and not too heavy. 24.04.2018 -- a bottle from marktkauf. a rather citrusy iipa.

0,33 l bottle from their web shop.Unclear golden in the glass with an huge frothy white head. Smells nearly like an IPA, hopy with a present alcoholic part. Taste starts scratchy, licorice, hop and then malt. Some citrus in the background. Low carbonation. Am I really under the Icebock flag? Anyhow, warming stuff, nice.

Stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Deutlich herb, alkoholische Noten sind von Anfang an präsent. Dabei wirken die hopfigen Noten fast nebensächlich, obwohl sie angenehm fruchtige Noten von Ananas beinhalten. Nicht unbedingt süffig, moderat herb. 7/11/10/11/12/11

Bottle from Getränkefeinkost, Magdeburg. Clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 110717
