Bottle: Golden, hazy, big and stable rocky and dirty white head; moderate lemony and piney nose, some worty traces underneath, maybe hooneyish spots too; pretty solid and dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, as expected; lingering lemony and piney finish, some balancing pale-malt detectable. Well drinkable, good Bier, but surely not Your typical Eisbock...

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine hoppy aroma. Starts strong but not alcoholic, fine hoppy notes, fruity like apricot, mild sourish notes. Bitter background. Notes of lemon. Well balanced finish. Still intense hoppy. Good one!

Bottle. Golden coloured with a beautiful head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple, lemons and pine. Taste is fruity (pineapple, grapefruit and passion fruit), grassy and bitter with just the right amount of honey sweetness. Long lasting bitter and dry finish. Medium carbonation. Some alcoholic warmth. Creamy mouthfeel. Well balanced. Lovely Eis Double Pale Ale (or whatever).

0.33 l bottle from the brewery’s web shop, best before December 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity, grassy, slightly resiny and minimally herbal aroma of passion fruit, lemongrass, pineapple and hints of spruce. Rather sweet, slightly bitter, fruity, herbal-grassy and a little resiny taste of passion fruit, lemon peel, pineapple, lemongrass and a touch of spruce, followed by a medium long, quite dry-bitter, grassy-spicy, slightly resiny and a little herbal, almost peppery finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very interesting, quite intense but also refreshing and surprisingly quaffable.
