Dark brown with lasting head. Plain dark ale with a rounded earthy hop bitterness. Ok.

20 June 2021. At Lokaal, Haarlem. Shared with the lovely Anke! Bottle. Hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Aroma of candied orange peel, dried fig, plum, toast, weetened fondant. Taste has sweet fig & plum, fondant maltiness, layer of toast & nuts too, some bitter citrus peel. Earthy hoppy finish, citrus & toast yet remaining sweetish with dried fruit accents. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Agreeable, but a bit too much - needs more harsh hoppiness!
