Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een donker roodbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een wrange fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, wrang, fruitig en houtig met een zurige afdronk.

22 June 2020. At De Gouverneur, Maastricht. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy amber/red with a thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of toffee, dried tea leaves, candied apricot, orange peel, redcurrant, sour cherry, brioche, jam, dark honey. Taste has sweet toffee, candied orange, apricot & cherry, sour touch of redcurrant, vague herbal hoppy bitterness into the finish, more apparent wood & sour cherry now, but toffee & candied fruit linger too. Warming liqueur alcohol in the very end. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Still too much of that base beer here so I'm missing out on the 'wild' treatment. Nice though!
