Lahev: Yeasty and fruity nose, sweetish malt and an illusion of spicy piney hops underneath; deep golden coloured, hazy, small and stable off-white head; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite soft and almost medium bodied; increasing hoppiness towards the bitter-malty and yeasty finish. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, well drinkable stuff…

Barwa pomarańczowa, piana w porządku. Lekko zmętnione. Aromat całkiem intensywny. Czuć brzoskwinię, czerwone owoce (głównie porzeczkę), trochę rodzynek. Poza tym bardzo przyprawowe - spory goździk. Chmiel na granicy podświadomości. W smaku jest naprawdę nieźle, jest bardzo słodko. Na podniebieniu zostają przyprawy. Jak na Żywiec to mistrzostwo świata. Na prawdę w porządku piwo.

Bottle. Pours hazy full amber with airy but stable off-white head. Grainy and malty aroma with hints of yeast and touches of malt. Bitter and sourish flavour with notes of not-exactly-well-fermented malt and some faint hoppy touches. Sourish notes persisting into the aftertatse. Feeble attempts at making it funky do not make up for it. Dear Żywiec, please keep brewing the porter, even the lager, but refrain from experimenting with what you have no understanding of.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Marcin. Clear amber color with medium soapy off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana, wine marc, citrus and pepper. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with caramel note, following is sour fruity and yeasty, mouthfeel is crisp, spicy and pronounced alcohol level, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Nice try, but no cigar. Very decent aroma, while taste is quite hefeweizen reminiscent...

Bottle. Amber colour, hazy, minimal head. Aroma is intensive herbs and spices, some apricot and fig, a bit of orange. Bitterness is mostly from herbs, light sweetness. Lively carbonation. A bit heavy, but good.
