On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Pours a dark, brown color, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is candied orange, straw, big pine, rose, and cardamom. Sweet and malty, with a bold bitterness. Medium to heavy body, biting, and crisp. Sticky, a bit hot, and hard. Quality.

Draft at New Realm. Ruddy mahogany pour, small bubbly head. Beautiful aroma of malts, tobacco, leather. Boozy notes sneak through. Taste features rich, deep malty flavors, light roast, nutty, and alcohol. A real sipper.

Bright Amber pour. Thin tan foam. Even lace. I drank a Potter's Farmhouse Dry Cider and took a drink of this beer it tastes like creme brulee and fruit. Fruit flavored with creme brulee vanilla and smokiness. Palate is nut flavor. Nice palate. Apparently really different from drinking it straight without any other beer. I like creme brulee so I gave it a 4.0

Rough and boozy like a long night at a dive bar in Fort McMurray. Orange golden pour without much head. Some sweet tobacco. Tap at Virginia brewery.

Very, very sweet, loads of caramel and toffee and toast with banana and date undertones and a grassy, semi-floral hop bitterness on the finish. The bitter back end is a necessary counterbalance to the overwhelming malt front, but it grows medicinal as the pint warms. Very boozy, yet lacks the body needed to support such a massive beer. Might be a nod to 18th century English strong ales, but this thing's chock full of American excess.
