This high gravity stout is masterfully crafted to balance aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, caramel, and coffee with a subtle underlying booziness. Full bodied and slightly roasty.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Pretty mellow dark malts for the style and the hefty abv. Some biscuity dark chocolate and powdery dark chocolate. Slightly spicy bourbon soaked fruits. Woody bitterness coming through on the back. Leaves a mildly warming afterglow. Drinks easy for the massive abv, other than that, an alright ba Impy that won't live too long in the memory.

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 13/07/2025.
Pitch black with a good sized dirty tan head that collapses over time.
Nose is treacle toffee, spice, herb, molasses, dark malts, liquorice.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, spice, molasses, toffee, liquorice, dried fruits.
Full bodied, slightly oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Decent enough sipper if lacking some depth.
Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, roasted, coffee, some dark fruit, taste is bitter chocolate, blackberry, coffee, roasted. 8/8/9/9/8
