Super hazy golden, peach and orange coloured body with a thick, but very fast-dying tan head that starts near seven centimetres tall and fades to just one after a few seconds, all atop the crazy, 95 per cent opaque glow. Aroma of oranges, citrus fruit, dry, hay, flowers, bright hop alpha acids and a bit of alcohol noticeable with a nice malt note, too. Medium-bodied; Very rich malt body at first shines through with mangoes and melons here as well, but then, the hops and associated alpha acid bitterness come through and leave a subtle dryness and a light sweetness finally hits with the fruit leaving behind a small touch of sugars. Aftertaste is crisp, very fruity, but balanced very nicely with citrus, grass, hay, alpha acids from the hops, but extra malt body from mangoes and papaya, with a great level of sweetness, too. Overall, a great, well-structured and almost perfectly complex-for-the-style IPA that is very new school, but does have a slight bitterness at the end that gives older drinkers some nostalgia. Great to sample this one fresh and well-worth trying to find for anyone who likes any style of an IPA - this one is great, plus the can graphic is pretty nice too! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia on 18-August-2021 for US$1,87, canned on 04-August-2021 with the tagline 'Drip Too Hard, Don't Stand Too Close' and sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-September-2021.
