Draft at PBR. Pale golden pour, cloudy, skin of head. Now it gets interesting. Yeasty aroma, Belgiany, floral, citrus. This had me scratching my head as it comes off like a saison or Belgian pale. Taste is both sweet and a bit tart, fruity, citrus, stone fruit, grassy. Not your normal DIPA

Clear golden and bright orange-tinted body with an ultra-dense, microfoamed head that's tan in colour and stays afloat for a very long time - nice! Aroma of soap, fresh-cut grass, flowers, yeast, light bread and a dash of pine coming through, but this smells like the yeast-forward (read 'Belgian IPA') that almost hit like a saison. Medium-bodied; Rich soapy and dry grassy hop flavours show at first with some more malt and very floral notes with a bit of coriander seed and slightly soapy bite with some noticeable alcohol (not much though), but a lot of dry, grainy, floral, grassy and especially yeast notes that are nice and soft, especially for a beer greater than 8 per cent alcohol. Aftertaste is crisp, very clean, grassy and herbal, but some very light yeast and hop bitterness comes through with an elegant and complex non-hop profile that adds to the enjoyment of this one. Overall, a very nice dry 'Belgian' IPA that is more of a saison or a hoppy Belgian Tripel than any IPA off-shoot, in a good way. Great to sample fresh, great for those who love 'Flying Dog Raging Bitch', also available locally. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco here in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 12-September-2020 for US$2,70 sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-September-2020, just two days later.

$9.99 bomber, Beer Run. Pours hazy gold with a large off-white head, lots of bubbles up the side. Aroma is heavy citrus (lemon and grapefruit mostly), pine, floral hops... almost smells like a cleaning agent. Flavor is lemon rind, pine, caramel, floral hops. Tastes a bit like a cleaning product too, but this is enjoyable.

Keg at Beer Run. Pours a clear golden with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of candied citrus and tropical hops. Pale malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, low carbonation. A little muddled.

Slightly buttery grapefruit nose. Clear amber, thin head. Strong overripe orange and dandelion flavor. Full body, alcohol surprisingly well masked. Not boozy, but big and well balanced.
