On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas - Olambic Games, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose has plenty of old furniture, moderate wood, and a hint earthy funk. Flavour is much the same, with intensely tart citrus, old furniture, wet wood, and some sweat socks. A little too tart and lacking funk for a top-tier Cantillon gueuze, but it’s solid.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas for the Olambic Games. Pours murky blonde with a white head. Nice musty funk on the nose. Flavour has dusty old upholstery, fairly dry, good funk. Very nice

Sour and tart, almost flat, dry and woody. Reminds me of loerik. Very nice.

Bottle. Almost clear golden. Deep funk, soft cognac, white porto, oak, funk. Lighter sour. Lovely.

2019 Gueuze Speciale on tap at Moeder Fontainas during Quintessence weekend. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Mild barnyard and cereal bouquet. Sour but not overly so with a malty sweetness. Loads of barrel characteristics and vinous notes. Super complex. Great body and mouthfeel. Absolutely fantastic.
