Sehr frischer pilstypischer Geruch.
Interessantes Pils. Ziemlich herb, aber dabei auch süßlich-frisch. 10/12/8/9

Draught at Kürzer, Düsseldorf
Blond color, nice compact head. Pleasant aroma of cereals and honey. Lean mouthfeel, smooth and dry, with mild cereals flavor, light corn finish, correct bitterness. Balanced, simple but well brewed.

Brown 0.5 litre bottle, best before 2nd Sept 2010, drank 23rd Feb 2010. Poured (three times) into a 0.2 litre stemmed Veltins Pilsner tulip. Looks like a pilsner, light golden in colour, pure white head. Clear, clean and bright, loads of bubbles rising through the beer on each pour. Good head retension and lacing for a lager/pilsner. No great aromas, some hay/straw and a slight grainy hint as the drink warmed. Sharp and refreshing and that crisp pilsner feel only the better ones give off. There is a hop presence, but not much, with even less of a malt taste. Having said that, it is a pleasant beer and a lot better than most beers of this style. Pilsners don’t have a big body feel or richness, they are light coloured and light bodied, this one carried off the style well, while still letting you know you’d had a drink.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer, a bit pale I think, and topped by a small, white head. Slightly metallic on the nose, but unmistakenly a german pilsner. Quite evident hops, and pale malts as a base, both in aroma and flavor. Medium body, a bit under-carbonated. Decent bitterness in the finish, but also some metallic hints. A decent, quaffable beer. 100806
